Judith LECLERC (Montreal, Canada 1967) is a B.Arch. Mc Gill University, Montréal (1992), Architect ETSABarcelona (2002). Teaches architectural design at ETSABarcelona since 2010 and previously at ESARQ and several Canadian universities: Mc Gill, Montréal and Calgary.
Jaime COLL (Palma Mallorca 1964) is a Ph. D. Architect, ETSABarcelona (1994), Extraordinary Doctorate Award (1996), Fellow of the LeCorbusier Foundation in Paris (1993) and Fulbright Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Columbia University (1994- 96). Senior Lecturer of Architectural Design at the ETSABarcelona since 1998.
Their office, founded in Barcelona in 1996, has become expert in three areas: Public space with the TMB Park, a pioneer manmade park on the roof of the bus station. Public housing, with several pilot projects including the Londres- Villarroel complex and Public facilities with namely Sant Gregori School.
Their work has appeared in more than 300 articles and been exhibited at several Venice and Spanish Biennials as well as in Frankfurt, Stockholm, Bordeaux, Basel, Paris, Phoenix, Genève and Mendrizio.
In 2007 they received the awards: City of Barcelona of Architecture, IX Spanish Biennial and the Housing National Award and were selected by Herzog&De Meuron-Ai Weiwei for the Ordos 100 project in China. In 2014 they received the 2nd prize in the competition for the renewal of the Montreal Biodôme.
All lectures are free, open to the public, and held at 6:30 pm in the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture Sciame Auditorium. Continuing Education Credit for registered New York architects is available.
