DESCRIPTION:Introduction: Michael Sorkin\n\nNeil Spiller is Hawksmoor Chair
  of Architecture and Landscape and Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Unive
 rsity of Greenwich\, London prior to this he was Dean of the School of Arc
 hitecture\, Design and Construction and Professor of Architecture and Digi
 tal Theory at Greenwich University.  Before this he was Vice-Dean and Gra
 duate Director of Design at the Bartlett School of Architecture\, Universi
 ty College London.\n\nHe guest edited his first AD\, Architects in Cybersp
 ace in 1995 (with Martin Pearce) followed in 1996 by Integrating Architect
 ure (1996)\, Architects in Cyberspace II (1998)\, Young Blood (2000)\, Ref
 lexive Architecture (2002)\, Protocell Architecture with Rachel Armstrong 
 (2010) and Drawing Architecture (2013).  Neil’s numerous books include 
 Cyberreader: Critical Writings of the Digital Era (2002)\, Digital Dream
 s - The Architecture of the New Alchemic Technologies (1998) and Visionar
 y Architecture – Blueprints of the Modern Imagination (2006).  He is o
 n the AD editorial Board. He is internationally renowned for his drawn arc
 hitectural design work which has been published and exhibited on many occa
 sions worldwide and is in many collections. Since 1998\, he has produced t
 he epic COMMUNICATING VESSELS project. His new book Surrealism and Archite
 cture: A Blistering Romance was published in October 2016 by Thames and H
 udson.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nAll lectures are free\, open to the public\, and held
  at 6:30 pm in the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture Sciame 
 Auditorium. Continuing Education Credit for registered New York architects
