Learn to think like an architect at the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture’s 2023 Summer Caree r Lab in Architecture.\nThe 2023 Summer Career Lab in Architecture at the Spitzer School of Architecture\, City College of New York\, is now open fo r registration. Building upon the professionally accredited curriculum of New York City’s original\, flagship public school of architecture\, the Summer Career Lab introduces architectural practice\, theory\, making\, an d thinking to those considering a career in the field. Running for four we eks within a state-of-the art facility and taught by Spitzer School facult y\, alumni\, and graduate students\, the Summer Career Lab will be organiz ed around a diverse set of events and exercises including:\n\n\n \nLectur es on architectural fundamentals\n\n \nWorkshops on drawing and making\n\ n \nOne-on-one critiques and collective pin-up reviews\n\n \nField trips and on-site work across the city\, including in City College’s historic Manhattanville and Hamilton Heights neighborhoods\n\n \nPresentations fr om award-winning architects\, historians\, and designers\n\n \nOffice tou rs\n\n \nAnd much more\n\n\nWith an emphasis on contemporary architectura l thinking and practice\, the Summer Career Lab curriculum will dialogue w ith digital fabrication and computer-aided design\, ecologically attuned a nd sustainable thinking\, interdisciplinary research\, and architecture in /as cultural discourse.\n\nFull-time and in-person\, the Summer Career Lab in Architecture will provide its participants—high school\, collegiate\ , or professional—with the experience needed to make an informed career choice\, with work useful in application portfolios for study\, and with s kills immediately applicable in future design endeavors.\n\n \;\nEligi bility &\; Admissions\nPrior experience in architecture or design is no t required for either pre-college or college-level programming. Admission is on a rolling basis. Prior to MOS\, Paul worked on exhibition and editorial pr ojects for Hume Coover Studio/suckerPUNCH. Ongoing professional work in cludes planning for an urban linkage along the shores of the Salton Sea a nd designs for a number of private residences.\n\nPaul received his M.  Arch from Princeton University School of Architecture\, and his B.
