SUMMARY:Summer Architecture Career Lab 2019
DESCRIPTION:With New York City as the dynamic backdrop\, City College’s a
 rchitecture career discovery program can help you engage in the people\, p
 laces\, and things that make New York one of the great global cities of ar
 chitecture. Experience a month-long immersion into the academic\, professi
 onal\, and cultural world of architecture theory and practice. The entire 
 city will serve as the class setting: intense creative projects\, interact
 ive field trips\, guest speakers\, guest critics\, workshops and studio se
 ssions form the foundation of the program. Participants will gain new appr
 eciation and understanding of the richness of architecture and gain the pr
 actical experience required to make an informed and meaningful career choi
 ce.\n\nThe Summer Career Lab is open to high school juniors and seniors 16
  years or older at the start of the program\, as well as college students 
 and adults 18 years or older\, who are interested in seeing what it’s li
 ke to pursue a degree or career in design or who are seeking to develop po
 rtfolio materials for college or graduate school applications. No prior ex
