 ous about building\, design\, and construction? Learn to think like an arc
 hitect at the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture’s 2022 Sum
 mer Career Lab in Architecture.\n\nThe Spitzer School of Architecture at t
 he City College of New York is restarting its Summer Career Lab in Archite
 cture in 2022. Building upon the professionally accredited curriculum of N
 ew York City’s original\, flagship public school of architecture\, the S
 ummer Career Lab introduces architectural practice\, theory\, making\, and
  thinking to those considering a career in the field. Running for four wee
 ks within a state-of-the art facility and taught by Spitzer School  facul
 ty\, alumni\, and graduate students\, the Summer Career Lab will be organi
 zed around a diverse set of events and exercises including: \n\n&nbsp\;\n\
 n 	Lectures on architectural fundamentals \n 	Workshops on drawing and ma
 king \n 	One-on-one critiques and collective pin-up reviews \n 	Field tr
 ips and on-site work across the city\, including in City College’s histo
 ric Manhattanville and Hamilton Heights neighborhoods\n 	Presentations fro
 m award-winning architects\, historians\, and designers \n 	Office tours
  \n 	And much more . . . &nbsp\;\n\nWith an emphasis on contemporary arch
 itectural thinking and practice\, the Summer Career Lab curriculum will di
 alogue with digital fabrication and computer-aided design\, ecologically a
 ttuned and sustainable thinking\, interdisciplinary research\, and archite
 cture in/as cultural discourse. \n\nFull-time and in-person\, the 2022 Su
 mmer Career Lab in Architecture will provide its participants—high schoo
 l\, collegiate\, or professional—with the experience needed to make an i
 nformed career choice\, with work useful in application portfolios for stu
 dy\, and with skills immediately applicable in future design endeavors. \
