Professor Fabian Llonch’s Cultural Center Wins Awards in Argentina and Brazil

Professor Fabian Llonch’s 2014 Centro Cultural Viejo Mercado in Rafaela, Argentina, has garnered awards in biennials in Argentina and Brazil. The project was won in a national competition in 2011 in collaboration with Carlos Airaudo, Gerardo Caballero, and Ariel Gimenez. Students Collaborate with Residents in the South Bronx

Students in Professor Nandini Bagchee’s advanced design studio are working with residents in the South Bronx to transform an abandoned health facility into a community center. New York Daily News Features Winning Student Competition Entry

Cheuk Kei (Chucky) Hui and Vionna Wai (5th-year B Arch) won first place in the annual NYC Student Masonry Design Competition based on their project, a proposal for the Queensboro Bridge Community Center, which they worked on in summer 2016 with Professor Ali Hocek.
