The City College of New York mourns the June 10 passing of Anne Spitzer (1928-2023), a passionate educator, philanthropist, and supporter of CCNY. She was the beloved wife of City College alumnus Bernard Spitzer (1924-2014), and together their incredible commitment to our institution was beyond phenomenal. The Spitzer community is saddened by the passing of Peter Gisolfi, AIA, ASLA. He was a much beloved and respected faculty member from 1975 until his retirement in 2019.
