M Arch Student Presents at Association for Community Design Conference

Avi Nagel M Arch ’19 presented at the 40th annual Association for Community Design (ACD) conference in June in Dallas, Texas. Nagel’s presentation, “NYC Million Trees, and an Open Urban Forest,” used the TreeCensus open-source database and asked for ideas on pairing cloud-based GIS integration with community participation to create more transparency in selecting planting locations.
