The Chair’s office at Spitzer is pleased to invite all students, faculty, and staff to Spring 2023's final Architecture Department Lunchtime Lecture. This lecture features one of the inaugural Spitzer Fellows, Mariana Righi. This event will be co-sponsored by CCNY's student chapter of the American Institute of Architecture (AIAS). About the speaker:
Mariana Righi is an Argentinian architect involved in practice, academia, and research. Prior to joining CCNY as a Spitzer Fellow, Mariana was a research and teaching assistant at the Autonomous Manufacturing Lab and Polyhedral Structures Laboratory at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Temple and Northeastern Universities as well as at the University of Buenos Aires. Her research interests center on exploring the relationship between materials, technology, aesthetics, and culture.
Mariana received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires and a Master of Science in Design with concentration in Advance Architectural Design from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied as a Fulbright Fellow.
