Heading for Extinction: An Introduction to Extinction Rebellion
Ken Levenson is an architect, chief operating officer of 475 High Performance Building Supply, and Board Director of New York Passive House and the North American Passive House Network. Driven by the imperative of the climate crisis, Ken has devoted his efforts to empower architects, engineers, builders, and owners to make dramatically more energy-efficient and less-toxic beautiful architecture. With the climate emergency accelerating toward the point of no return, Ken is volunteering with the non-profit Extinction Rebellion, to help build a mass nonviolent civil disobedience campaign to force governments to take the necessary drastic action they have so far been unwilling to do, to prevent runaway global warming.
All lectures are free and open to students on a first-come, first-served basis. Roofpod lecture series organized by Professors Ahu Aydogan Akseli and Christian Volkmann.
