Professor Bolhassani Wins $15K CUNY Interdisciplinary Climate Crisis Research Grant

We are pleased to announce that Professor Mohammad Bolhassani’s proposal to the CUNY Interdisciplinary Climate Crisis Research Grant (ICCRG) Program, entitled “Employing a new construction material and technique to reduce the global CO2 emission,” has been selected for funding. The award amount is $15,000 in Tax Levy funds. Professor Bolhassani, with the help of Professor Chauhan of Queensborough Community College, is intending to develop a new zero-carbon, 3D printable geopolymer (soil cement) that could revolutionize the construction industry.
