The David Werber Traveling Fellowship 2019 Barcelona Summer program brought 7 CCNY architecture students to Spain to work with a group of students and professors from the Facultad de Arquitectura Planeamiento y Diseno of the Universidad Nacional de Rosario, Argentina. SSA Chair and Associate Professor June Williamson participated in the “Suburbs for Everyone” webinar for Smart Growth Online. The series is organized by the Maryland Department of Planning with the Congress for the New Urbanism and is funded by the U.S. EPA Office of Sustainable Communities. SSA B Arch students Isabella Joseph, Aparna Ramanathan Ramesh, and Violet Nash Greenberg are among the inaugural 2019-2020 cohort of Climate Policy Fellows at CCNY’s Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership. This new program draws its fellows from CCNY architecture, engineering, science, and social science majors. The fellows will participate in workshops culminating in paid internships in Summer 2020
