Dear Friends of the Spitzer School,

Here it is, February 2022, and we are back at the Spitzer School, together again after too many years of separation. The pandemic has lasted longer than any of us imagined, bringing with it illness, pain, hardship, and loss, and touching each one of us in the Spitzer community. We are forever changed. The bug is still out there, making people sick, but I am hopeful—I have to be—that the worst is behind us. This is one reason for my optimism. We’re in school—Spitzer is open—and we’re creating, drawing, building, imagining, studying, working, and learning together. Have a look at this newsletter; it gives a good sense of what’s happening at SSA (also our social media handle – @whatsonatssa), including some of the many, impressive accomplishments of students, faculty, staff, and alums.
