Awards & Honors

The Jury of Fellows of the AIA has elevated Adjunct Professor Neil Katz to its prestigious College of Fellows in the second category of Fellowship. Following this honor, he was profiled by AIA New York | Center for Architecture as a featured member.

An architect with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), Katz teaches computational design at the Spitzer School. He has pioneered the adoption of computational design in contemporary practice and has served as an ambassador for its application in architecture through the built environment, interdisciplinary collaborations, and teaching.
