Solar Roofpod Open House - Admission is Free
Atop the Spitzer School of Architecture sits a solution to NYC’s energy and emission problems. This Solar Roofpod—a student-designed, plus-net-energy roof pavilion—is a featured site during the citywide cultural event Open House New York Weekend. Student designers-builders and Professor Christian Volkmann will discuss the creation of the Solar Roofpod, participation in the Solar Decathlon, and the Roofpod’s new installation as a living classroom. Tours at 11:00, 2:00, and 4:00 both days.
