William Garrison McNeil

Biography :
In more than 40 years on the architecture faculty at The City College of New York, William Garrison McNeil taught design studios, architectural management, and electives, as well as serving as chair and thesis coordinator. He also ran his own Harlem-based architectural practice for more than 40 years.
He served as a New York City Planning Commissioner, a member of the New York State Board of Architecture, a member of Community Board 9 in Harlem, and one of the founding members of nycoba | NOMA. He was awarded the 2017 Career Achievement Award by the CCNY Architecture Alumni Group.
