Master of Science in Architecture

🎓Open to students who hold a five-year, NAAB-accredited Bachelor of Architecture degree or the international equivalent.

The Master of Science in Architecture program enables students who have a completed a five-year B Arch degree to deepen their expertise and enhance their design skills.

The foundation of this open-ended, flexible course of study is three semesters in an Advanced Studio + Research Seminar. From there, students can customize their studies with a diverse set of elective offerings, including design and methods, technology, sustainability, professional practice, and history and theory.

Graduates — who are highly sought after by employers in New York City and beyond — work throughout the architecture, engineering, and construction sector, including at architecture and design firms, public agencies, nonprofits, and construction companies.

Master of Science programs are not eligible for NAAB accreditation and may not be accepted as meeting licensure requirements in many U.S. jurisdictions.
