AAP Student Prize Awarded to M Arch Trio
A project by M Arch I class of 2016 graduates Ryan Cerone, Yiwei He, and Kyle McArdle was recognized as New Discovery of the Year, Interior Design category, at the first annual American Architecture Prize Winners Cocktail Evening at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York on October 25. Their HOME(less) + HOUSING prototype for homeless New Yorkers using 3D-printing was developed in Professor Fabian Llonch’s Advanced Studio in spring 2016.
The jury for the first annual American Architecture Prize selected exceptional designs across the disciplines of architecture, interior design, and landscape architecture.
The project previously received awards in the Freeform Home Design Challenge and the Rethinking the Future competition.
