Hillary Brown Attends Netherlands Climate Workshop

An article by Professor Hillary Brown, “Circular Economies for Rural Renewal: Revitalizing Towns and Their Bioregions,” was published this January in Transactions on Ecology and the Environment, Vol. 238, The Sustainable City XIII, Wessex Institute Press. During winter break, Brown presented a paper at a small invited workshop with sustainability and complexity science academics in Warnsveld, Holland, organized by the Singapore- and Holland-based not-for-profit organization Para Limes. Entitled “Acclimatizing Human Settlements for 2050 and Beyond: Circular Models Needed,” it is written to be shared at the Para Limes international conference taking place later this year and called “Buying Time.”
