Congratulations, Spitzer School graduates!

On May 30, the class of 2023 gathered in the Great Hall of Shepard Hall for the Spitzer School of Architecture Commencement. The ceremony recognized 116 students who completed Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, Master of Science in Architecture, Master of Landscape Architecture, and Master of Urban Planning in Urban Design degrees.

Spitzer School valedictorian Si Long Mong delivered a heartfelt address. Graduating students winning awards and scholarships were also recognized. Special recognition was given to several recently retired faculty members for their many years of dedication to their students, professional design, and policy work: retirees Jacob Alspector, Hillary Brown, Lance Jay Brown, Alan Feigenberg, and Peter Gisolfi.

After the ceremony, the graduates along with their families and friends gathered in the Spitzer School to enjoy lunch while viewing the End of Year Student Work show.
