The Spitzer community is saddened by the passing of Peter Gisolfi, AIA, ASLA. He was a much beloved and respected faculty member from 1975 until his retirement in 2019. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 15th. Peter had a vibrant career as an architect, landscape architect, and educator. During his time at the Spitzer School, he had stints directing the landscape architecture program and serving as department chair. Peter founded Peter Gisolfi Associates, a thriving architecture and landscape architecture firm in Hastings on Hudson. He will be deeply missed.
