The City College of New York mourns the June 10 passing of Anne Spitzer (1928-2023), a passionate educator, philanthropist, and supporter of CCNY. She was the beloved wife of City College alumnus Bernard Spitzer (1924-2014), and together their incredible commitment to our institution was beyond phenomenal. It includes our own Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture, the flagship public school of architecture in New York City, and other programs at CCNY.
