Llonch to Showcase Work at the Venice Biennale

We are delighted to announce that Professor Fabian Llonch‘s practice, Llonch+Vidalle Arquitectura (LLV), has been invited to showcase work at the Argentina Pavilion, Venice Biennale 2020. The project, which is sited in Las Grutas, Argentina, uses natural materials and local building techniques to provide a series of collective vacation homes for urban clients wishing to reconnect with nature. The project was completed in 2011.

This year’s Venice Biennale is curated by architect and scholar Hashim Sarkis and asks the question, “How will we live together?” LLV’s response responds to questions of site, cost, and collective living with formal complexity and programmatic elegance, demonstrating a number of possible living arrangements within four different housing units.

Llonch also had work featured in the 2018 Biennale.
