Nine Spitzer School student projects featured in Dezeen School Shows

  • An overhead photograph of a conceptual architectural model made from brown cardboard. The model consists of numerous interlocking and individual geometric shapes, primarily hexagons and elongated polygons, arranged in a sprawling, organic pattern across a flat cardboard base. Some shapes are grouped closely together to form dense clusters, while others are more isolated. Faint geometric lines are etched into the base board, suggesting a site plan or layout. Dramatic lighting from the side casts long, deep shadows, emphasizing the three-dimensional forms and the varying heights of the cardboard walls.

Nine student projects representing the Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture I, Master of Science in Architecture, Master of Landscape Architecture, and Master of Urban Planning in Urban Design programs were recently featured in Dezeen’s latest School Show.

Among the student projects are a co-housing design inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright’s work, an accessory dwelling unit built with glulam, and a project exploring the broader impact of landscape architecture.
